Adjoa J. Burrowes

Adjoa J. Burrowes is a mixed-media artist, author and arts educator with a BFA in printmaking from Howard University in Washington DC and an MA in art education from the Corcoran School of Art at George Washington University. Her work evokes a sense of movement and depth to such an extent the viewer feels that they are moving through a rich, layered environment. Her themes include exploring the tensions of our era,  the environment and cultural identity.
